About the Role
Take ownership of logistics safety across Bhutan's domestic and cross-border transportation network, including route surveys, centralized GPS monitoring, delivery tracking, compliance reviews, emergency response, data analysis, document archiving, safety management systems, audits, and logistics reporting.
Requirements
- Preferably 3 years of experience in cross-border logistics safety management, monitoring, and GPS tracking
- Experience with on-site route surveys, cross-border clearance safety, GPS anti-theft monitoring, and central control monitoring systems preferred
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Able to undertake on-site route surveys, cross-regional business trips, 24/7 on-call response, and shift work
- Proficient in Bhutanese import/export customs regulations and cross-border transportation safety standards
- Able to independently establish local logistics safety management systems
- Excellent coordination skills for abnormal incidents
- Experience with route surveys, risk assessments, and routing plans
- Strong document management and statistical analysis skills
- Proficient in Excel, logistics management systems, and GPS tracking platforms
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site surveys for domestic and cross-border transportation routes in Bhutan and design optimal routing plans
- Reinspect key routes and update route safety assessments and transportation solutions
- Set up 24-hour centralized information monitoring and GPS control mechanisms
- Track inland transportation and last-mile delivery status and verify delivery schedules
- Obtain official proof of receipt and complete delivery closure
- Verify safety compliance materials, shipping documents, customs papers, and qualification certificates
- Formulate emergency plans for logistics safety risks and document incident handling
- Analyze logistics monitoring data and optimize monitoring rules
- Operate and optimize GPS tracking platforms and coordinate with vendors
- Archive logistics safety documentation
- Build standardized logistics safety control systems for Bhutan operations
- Conduct safety and compliance audits and issue rectification plans
- Distribute daily monitoring reports and compile weekly and monthly summaries
