About the Role

You will provide practical legal advice across operational matters and review, prepare, and amend legal documents. You will manage third-party contracts, monitor financial regulations and corporate law, support regulatory inquiries and reports, assist with licensing matters, advise internal stakeholders, and liaise with external counsel and regulators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Knowledge of Australian corporations law and financial services regulatory requirements
  • Legal research, drafting, and contract review skills
  • Experience in financial services, a law firm, or an in-house legal environment
  • Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin
  • Ability to provide practical, commercially focused legal advice
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support across operations
  • Review, prepare, and amend legal documents
  • Review and manage third-party contracts
  • Monitor regulatory and corporate-law changes and advise on their impact
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries and support regulatory reporting
  • Support licensing applications, renewals, and regulator interactions
  • Act as a legal contact for internal departments
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and stakeholders
