About the Role
You will support commercial and corporate legal matters, including agreements, M&A, financing, and public-company readiness. You will create contract triage guidance, build a clause and template library, test an AI-assisted intake workflow, draft negotiation response templates, and help implement a contract lifecycle management platform.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a JD, with 2L or 3L preferred
- Completed contracts coursework
- Legal writing and analytical skills
- Ability to use or learn AI-assisted tools such as Claude
- Ability to work at least 1 day per week in the San Francisco office
Responsibilities
- Support Commercial and Corporate Legal matters and active transactions
- Draft and validate an NDA and vendor-agreement triage playbook
- Build and annotate a clause and template library
- Build and test an AI-assisted intake workflow for issue-spot summaries
- Draft response templates for routine counterparty negotiation requests
- Assist with onboarding a contract lifecycle management platform
