About the Role
You will architect, implement, and own high-performance C++ backend infrastructure for defense autonomy products. You will translate mission requirements into reliable software, solve autonomy challenges across multiple domains, and lead engineering work from architecture through deployment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong C++ expertise
- Systems programming, concurrency, performance optimization, and distributed-systems expertise
- Python proficiency
- Interest in autonomy, robotics, or physical AI
- U.S. citizenship
- Eligibility for a U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance C++ backend systems
- Build scalable and reliable infrastructure for autonomous systems
- Translate mission requirements into robust software solutions
- Own engineering workstreams from architecture through deployment
- Interface with Department of Defense programs and defense customers
