About the Role
You will lead and develop engineers while remaining hands-on with code. You will own the data pipeline from devices to cloud, build backend and UI features, guide ML training and inference infrastructure, make architectural decisions, and resolve cross-functional production problems.
Requirements
- Engineering management experience
- Experience hiring, coaching, performance managing, and developing engineers
- Experience building and scaling backend, platform, or infrastructure systems in production
- Experience shipping APIs, backend services, and user interfaces
- Architectural decision-making experience
- Experience with scale, reliability, and performance tradeoffs
- Experience delivering cross-functional projects to production
- Experience with distributed systems, data-intensive systems, streaming pipelines, platform infrastructure, or ML infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers
- Set direction, run planning, and deliver reliably
- Write code and ship full-stack features
- Own end-to-end data-pipeline architecture from device to cloud
- Drive reliability and performance for ML training and inference infrastructure
