About the Role

You will architect and build test execution software for simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, ML regression, and factory validation. You will create automation and CI/CD pipelines, integrate testing with robotics hardware and simulations, build performance tools, enforce testability standards, and mentor developers on automated testing.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of software engineering experience building test infrastructure, automation frameworks, or CI/CD tooling
• Expert Python knowledge, including object-oriented programming and test frameworks such as Pytest
• Strong C++ proficiency, including Google Test or Catch2
• Linux, bash scripting, and Docker experience
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Buildkite
• Experience diagnosing software and physical robotics integration failures
• Familiarity with testing non-deterministic AI, ML, or robotics systems
• Ability to work in office five days per week

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a modular test execution engine in Python and C++
• Own the technical roadmap for the automated test framework
• Build automated pipelines for testing machine-learning models
• Integrate datasets and simulation edge cases into CI/CD pipelines
• Automate end-to-end autonomy and navigation tests
• Build software for hardware-in-the-loop rigs and performance profiling
• Package test software for factory validation
• Enforce testing standards and testable software designs
• Mentor developers on automated testing practices
