About the Role
You will lead quality assurance activities across web applications and APIs. You will conduct manual testing, build automated testing frameworks, create test scripts with tools such as Selenium or Cypress, perform API and MongoDB testing, collaborate with stakeholders, track bugs in Jira, and stay current with testing practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Hands-on experience with manual testing
- Experience with Selenium Cypress or similar automation frameworks
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile testing
- Scripting skills in JavaScript TypeScript or Python
- Strong understanding of REST Assured and REST APIs
- API testing experience with Postman SoapUI or similar tools
- Database testing experience preferably with MongoDB
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with performance or security testing is a bonus
- Experience with AWS GCP or Azure is a bonus
- Experience with TestRail or Zephyr is a bonus
- Experience with fintech products is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing of web applications and APIs
