About the Role
You will own the technical direction and delivery of Frontier Traders from onchain data ingestion through trader-facing experiences. You will build data pipelines, rewards and VIP-tier systems, realtime feeds and leaderboards, and partner integrations. You will work directly with traders and stakeholders, set engineering standards, and help define the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Track record of building and shipping products end to end with personal ownership.
- Strong engineering fundamentals across the stack.
- Technical proficiency in Rust and other performant programming languages.
- Experience with high-volume data pipelines, indexing, or realtime systems where accuracy and latency matter.
- Experience building financial or transactional products.
- Working knowledge of Solana accounts, transactions, program interactions, and reliable onchain data extraction.
- Familiarity with DeFi market structure, spot and perpetuals venues, AMMs, order books, maker and taker dynamics, fees, and rebates.
- Strong product instincts and user-experience judgment.
- Excellent communication and ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and end-to-end delivery of Frontier Traders.
- Build and scale pipelines that attribute spot and perpetuals trading volume across Solana venues.
- Design and operate rewards systems for campaigns, points, prize pools, and leaderboards.
- Build and maintain VIP-tier systems, volume windows, tier progression, and rebate calculations.
- Ship accurate, responsive realtime activity feeds, leaderboards, and tier progression.
- Own and maintain integrations with ecosystem partners.
- Turn feedback from traders, firms, and market makers into shipped product.
- Set standards for architecture, code quality, testing, observability, and incident response.
- Make build-versus-integrate decisions that manage technical debt.
- Partner with design, product, Trading, and Growth stakeholders to shape the roadmap.
