About the Role

You will lead all electrical engineering efforts across a portfolio of fast-track hyperscale data center projects. You will review utility interconnections, substations, medium- and low-voltage distribution, transformers, switchgear, protection schemes, backup power, grounding, bonding, and life safety interfaces. You will coordinate electrical design through concept, schematic, and detailed phases while ensuring alignment with mechanical, CSA, and technology systems. You will perform detailed reviews of electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, one-lines, load studies, and protection coordination. You will identify and resolve design gaps, constructability issues, and interface risks so that designs reflect operational realities and commissioning needs. You will participate in design coordination meetings, contractor constructability reviews, utility and AHJ discussions, and vendor technical reviews. You will respond to RFIs, review submittals, and support energization and commissioning in the field. You will serve as the technical interface with utilities, electrical contractors, and OEMs, and manage external Engineers of Record and specialty consultants to ensure deliverables meet quality and schedule expectations. You will help develop electrical design standards, reference architectures, and reliability philosophies, incorporating lessons learned from construction, commissioning, and operations while balancing standardization with site-specific and utility-driven requirements.
