About the Role
You will lead the expansion of new data-operations sites from market selection through handoff to local operators. You will build repeatable launch systems, coordinate entity setup, facilities, hiring, training, hardware, software, partnerships, and community efforts, and track site performance to resolve operational bottlenecks.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of operations experience at startups or global corporations.
- Experience establishing new locations in international markets.
- Ability to own outcomes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working across cultures or international markets.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple sites, partners, and workstreams.
- Commitment to five days per week of in-office collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead launches of new data operations sites from site selection through handoff to local operators.
- Identify and launch new geographies, managing entity setup, localization, facilities, partnerships, and community building.
- Build and improve expansion playbooks, SOPs, and tooling.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, and operations on site hardware, software, and operational systems.
- Track volume, quality, and throughput across sites and implement operational fixes.
- Source, negotiate, and manage local partners, agencies, and vendors.
- Translate field feedback into actionable product improvements.
- Hire, develop, and lead the launch team.
