About the Role
You will perform media preparation and quality control, order and restock laboratory supplies, prepare and distribute glassware, and support equipment, gas, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. You will follow safety procedures, prioritize operational work, improve processes, and create or revise procedures.
Requirements
- 0-1 years of laboratory operations experience
- BS degree in biological sciences
- Multitasking and prioritization
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and move heavy equipment

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, stretch, and climb
Responsibilities
- Perform media preparation and quality control
- Order and restock consumables and laboratory materials
- Clean, sterilize, prepare, and distribute glassware
- Support management of lab coats, scrubs, and towels
- Assist with equipment maintenance, moving, and installation
- Assist with CO2, LN2, and dry-ice management
- Provide backup for shipping, receiving, and chemical inventory management
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Prioritize tasks with the Lab Operations Manager and Lead
- Handle operational processes and identify improvements
- Participate in process-improvement initiatives
- Author or revise internal procedures and standard operating procedures
