ARQ serves travelers, investors, and professionals across Latin America who need access to global currencies and financial markets. Users can hold digital dollars and euros, receive and send international payments via dedicated US and European account details, invest in US stocks and ETFs, and spend globally with a card at market conversion rates. The platform is available across Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, and Brazil.

About the Role
You will provide legal and regulatory support for virtual asset operations, payment institution activities, and investment advisory obligations. You will monitor compliance and regulatory changes, prepare filings and responses, manage consumer and authority requests, support stakeholder communications, and draft and organize legal documentation.
Requirements
- Law degree with active bar admission or bar admission in progress.
- Fluent Portuguese.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of financial regulation or strong interest in developing this expertise.
- Familiarity with regulated institutions.
- Ability to manage regulatory deadlines.
- Strong written communication.
Responsibilities
- Support compliance with rules governing virtual asset activities, PIX, and payment institution operations.
- Assist with authorization processes, regulatory deadlines, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Track investment advisory obligations and draft responses to regulator inquiries and internal guidelines.
- Prepare and submit evidence and defense materials for consumer complaints and proceedings.
- Draft responses to official authority requests within deadlines.
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory changes and translate their practical impact for internal teams.
- Support communications with regulators, auditors, and banking partners.
- Draft legal memos, opinions, corporate documents, and internal documents.
- Organize records for audit and supervisory purposes.
