About the Role

You will support daily compliance activities across MiFID and MiCA operations. You will help implement regulatory requirements, maintain AML/CFT and transaction-monitoring processes, review product changes before launch and monitor adherence to internal policies. You will also assist with regulatory communications, identify and escalate compliance issues, track legal developments and strengthen the compliance framework.

Requirements

  • Have at least two years of experience in compliance, financial services, legal, risk or a comparable field.
  • Possess basic knowledge of MiFID II and AML/CFT.
  • Understand legal and regulatory requirements and translate them into daily practice.
  • Work accurately and systematically.
  • Be willing to learn and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Be fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Basic knowledge of or interest in MiCA and crypto-related regulation is preferred.
  • Experience in fintech, crypto or another rapidly changing regulated environment is preferred.
  • Experience in an international or fast-growing organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily compliance activities within MiFID and MiCA operations.
  • Implement MiFID II and IFR/IFD requirements in daily operations.
  • Maintain AML/CFT and transaction-monitoring processes.
  • Translate legal and regulatory requirements into internal processes and procedures.
  • Support ongoing regulatory supervision and related activities.
  • Conduct compliance reviews of product changes and new features before launch.
  • Prepare responses to information requests from the AFM and DNB.
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and improve the compliance framework.
  • Identify potential compliance issues and escalate them to relevant senior colleagues.
  • Track regulatory developments and support their implementation.
  • Collaborate with other functions across the organization.
