About the Role
You will build hands-on skills while supporting data-center operations in a shift-based environment. You will install and maintain equipment, replace components, rack and stack systems, install cabling, test links, trace faults, and perform site operations work.
Requirements
- Hands-on technical or operations experience
- Hardware-work aptitude
- Understanding of network links, copper cabling, and fibre cabling
- Methodical fault diagnosis
- Operational discipline and escalation judgement
- Ability to work an on-site shift rotation
- Professional fluency in English
- Fluency in Latvian
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and structured cabling
- Replace failed hardware components
- Rack and stack servers, switches, and supporting equipment
- Install, route, and label copper and fibre cabling
- Test cable and fibre links and trace faults
- Handle receiving, hardware inventory, and physical site checks
