About the Role
You will maintain, troubleshoot, and scale GPU and CPU clusters in a Paris-area datacenter. You will diagnose server, storage, and interconnect issues; safely replace or recable components; maintain inventories and RMAs; improve procedures; document all changes; and coordinate with vendors and senior hardware owners.
Requirements
- Hands-on datacenter or server-hardware experience
- Linux fundamentals
- Python or Bash scripting
- Knowledge of ESD and lockout/tagout procedures
- Practical electrical safety knowledge
- Experience working in racks, including cabling and labeling
- Clear communication skills
Responsibilities
- Diagnose compute, storage, server, and interconnect hardware issues
- Perform safe component replacement, reseating, and recabling
- Apply lockout/tagout and ESD procedures
- Triage incidents using system indicators and basic tests
- Document tickets, evidence, and hardware changes
- Improve preventive maintenance procedures, alerts, and dashboards
- Receive and track parts, inventory, and RMAs
- Coordinate with vendors and escalate complex issues
- Maintain current SOPs and checklists
