About the Role

You will operate the lab floor by installing, cabling, repairing, and documenting compute, network, and storage hardware. You will manage inventory and RMAs, provide smart-hands support, assist with liquid cooling work, troubleshoot facility issues, and escort visiting vendors and partners.

Requirements

• Experience deploying and supporting server and network hardware in a data center or hardware lab
• Deep server hardware troubleshooting knowledge, including POST, BIOS, PXE, IPMI, BMC, and component-level repair
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, switches, routers, copper, and fiber
• Linux console diagnosis and recovery experience
• Experience maintaining asset records, labels, and documentation
• Ability to handle unreleased or partner-owned hardware confidentially
• GPU server fleet, hyperscale AI infrastructure, liquid-cooled system, Python, Bash, or structured cabling experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Perform rack-and-stack work, cabling, hardware installation, swaps, and part replacements
• Maintain accurate asset records through equipment changes
• Receive and inventory equipment and manage RMAs
• Document installations and changes physically and photographically
• Provide smart-hands support for remote engineers and hardware partners
• Support CDU manifold connections and visual leak inspections
• Escalate facility-floor issues and escort vendors and partners
