About the Role

You will run complex projects from design and development through production. You will define requirements and plan the project lifecycle, set resources and schedules, and create risk mitigation and contingency plans. You will direct and oversee the engineering team, manage conflicts, perform team assessments, and resolve project issues. You will design and maintain technical and project documentation, improve processes for tracking and managing customer support issues using JIRA and Confluence, coordinate communications and project administration, facilitate meetings, perform administrative duties such as data review and status reporting, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. You will give and receive feedback professionally and carry out responsibilities independently.

Requirements

  • 7 or more years managing complex large scale software development projects
  • Strong understanding of computer technologies and technical risk management
  • Experience using Agile concepts to manage the software development lifecycle
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing distributed teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Motivated and self-driven
  • Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and detail-oriented
  • Interpersonal and business skills to interact with diverse individuals
  • Understanding of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Ability to work securely from home on Apple Mac devices

Responsibilities

  • Run complex projects and programs from design to production

  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure effective IT program operation
  • Coordinate communication and project administration activities to develop schedules and plans and manage problems
  • Perform administrative tasks including data entry, review, proofreading, meeting facilitation, documentation, internal communications, and status reporting
  • Ensure timely completion of project tasks
