About the Role
You will provide first-line technical support across Linux and macOS environments. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues, administer Linux workstations and servers, configure new-user equipment, manage help desk tickets, and maintain secure, current systems. You will document systems and support CMMC and ITAR operational standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT help desk, technical support, or related experience
- Hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting skills
- Ubuntu and RHEL workstation deployment and hardening skills
- Package and repository management experience
- Linux user, permission, ACL, and SSH administration skills
- Central identity integration experience
- Linux log and failure troubleshooting skills
- Storage, encryption, and recovery skills
- Network configuration, VPN, firewall, and certificate management skills
- Linux endpoint security administration experience
- Bash, Python, and Git skills
- Docker troubleshooting experience
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Administer Linux workstations and servers
- Configure laptops, install software, and support new employee onboarding
- Manage and track help desk tickets and escalate issues as needed
- Perform routine system maintenance and security updates
- Maintain system logs and IT records
- Support CMMC Level 2 and ITAR operational standards
