About the Role
You will manage trademark clearance, prosecution, portfolio strategy, and enforcement across jurisdictions. You will oversee domain strategy, respond to trademark demands, advise business teams on naming and brand use, and build scalable brand-protection processes.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Substantial trademark and domain practice experience
- Hands-on experience with trademark clearance, filing strategy, and enforcement
- Experience managing global trademark and domain portfolios
- Experience with UDRP proceedings and online enforcement
Responsibilities
- Run trademark clearance for model, product, and feature names
- Manage global trademark prosecution and portfolio strategy
- Lead trademark and domain enforcement
- Oversee online brand protection activities
- Manage domain portfolio acquisitions, disputes, and recovery
- Respond to trademark demands and support trademark-related litigation
- Counsel marketing, product, and go-to-market teams on brand usage and naming
- Build brand-protection playbooks and processes
