About the Role
You will support the evaluation of medtech and healthcare investment opportunities from initial screening through live deal support. You will conduct clinical, technical, regulatory and commercial research, assess markets and literature, prepare investment materials and collaborate with senior investment professionals.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, clinical sciences, medicine, life sciences or a related discipline
- Familiarity with medtech or life sciences investing or healthcare and medical device environments
- Background or demonstrable interest in medical devices, diagnostics, regulatory pathways or market access
- At least two years of relevant experience beyond undergraduate studies through work, a PhD or advanced postgraduate study
- Experience critically appraising clinical, technical or scientific literature
- Ability to synthesise scientific, clinical and quantitative information
- Strong attention to detail and intellectual rigour
- Comfort with numbers, data, quantitative analysis and financial reasoning
- Ability to probe claims, test assumptions and identify risks
- Proactive collaborative working style
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Based in or near Amsterdam and able to work from the Amsterdam office
