About the Role
You will support the origination of structured private credit deals by analyzing loan originator datasets, benchmarking portfolio performance, and modeling whole-loan portfolios and loan-backed structures across scenarios. You will research European lending markets, conduct operational due diligence, develop analytical tools, respond to internal inquiries, prepare credit materials, and coordinate deal execution.
Requirements
- Prior experience working directly with structured products, preferably securitization
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, mathematics, or engineering
- More than two years of relevant financial-sector experience
- Functional knowledge of credit products, preferably private credit
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel and Python for financial modeling
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Perform quantitative analysis on loan originator datasets to support investment decisions
- Calculate stratified performance analytics for benchmarking and investment decision-making
- Model whole-loan portfolio performance across multiple scenarios
- Model the performance of loan-collateralized structures across multiple scenarios
- Research European lending markets and identify target markets
- Monitor European lending developments and identify potential originators
- Conduct operational due diligence on originators, including required travel
- Develop scripts, models, and standardized processes to streamline analysis
- Address inquiries from credit, compliance, finance, operations, and data teams
- Draft analytical documents for credit committee and senior management review
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts through deal execution
