About the Role
You will originate and structure debt capital for vendor down payments and capacity commitments across bank revolvers private credit non-bank facilities receivables-backed structures SPV financings and equipment financing. You will manage lender and investor relationships run financing raises from positioning through documentation negotiate covenants lien priority DACA mechanics borrowing base definitions and advance rates and maintain post-close reporting and compliance. You will build and defend facility models provide financing recommendations support the equity round and coordinate contract terms so vendor and customer agreements remain financeable.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in capital markets corporate development or institutional fundraising
- Prior experience raising institutional capital from institutional LPs for a hedge fund private equity firm or venture capital firm
- Investment banking capital markets experience ideally in debt capital markets leveraged finance structured finance private capital markets or financial sponsors
- Existing relationships with bank non-bank and private credit lenders active in the AI space
- Fluency in credit documentation and financing structures
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Ability to operate with ambiguity and without an analyst bench
- Experience raising a Series B or Series C at a startup as an operator preferred
- Exposure to asset-backed equipment infrastructure or project finance preferred
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure data centers semiconductors or energy preferred
