About the Role
You will join the core team at the London headquarters, sitting at the center of the investment process and reporting directly to the Managing Partners. You'll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring digital asset investments across multiple blockchain verticals including DeFi protocols, Layer 1 and Layer 2 infrastructure, GameFi platforms and NFT ecosystems. You should be comfortable working with on-chain data, protocol documentation and financial modeling tools while also being able to engage directly with founders, other investors and the broader crypto community.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, hedge funds or crypto-native investment firms
- Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals including consensus mechanisms, smart contract architecture and cross-chain bridging
- Proficiency with on-chain analytics platforms and the ability to extract actionable insights from raw blockchain data
- Strong quantitative skills with proven ability to build financial models and conduct rigorous due diligence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing investment memos and presenting to partners
- Active participation in the Web3 ecosystem demonstrated through personal projects, open-source contributions, DAO governance or community involvement
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive research on emerging blockchain protocols, decentralized applications and token economic models
- Prepare comprehensive investment memos covering market opportunity, competitive landscape, technical architecture, tokenomics and risk assessment
- Build and maintain financial models for token valuation including discounted cash flow, comparable analysis and scenario-based return projections
- Track on-chain metrics and protocol performance for existing portfolio companies using tools such as Dune Analytics, DefiLlama and Nansen
- Attend industry conferences, hackathons and demo days to source new investment opportunities and maintain network relationships
- Participate in investment committee meetings and present recommendations to senior leadership
- Coordinate with portfolio companies on quarterly reporting, KPI tracking and strategic milestone reviews
- Collaborate with the Deal Sourcing Lead to build and maintain the firm's deal pipeline
