About the Role

You maintain optimal inventory levels and manage material transactions in the WMS and ERP systems. You conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, verify bills of materials, and support production by issuing, kitting, organizing, and delivering parts. You also assist with annual inventory planning, surplus and scrap disposal, receiving, unloading, cleaning, and other warehouse activities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull materials
  • Forklift experience is a bonus
  • Experience with an MRP system is a bonus
  • Participation in a required drug and alcohol program

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory transactions for multiple projects
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies
  • Conduct monthly cycle counts
  • Verify bills of materials before production
  • Run parts to the production floor
  • Issue parts to jobs according to specifications
  • Kit jobs for production
  • Organize materials on job carts
  • Pull sheet metal for CNC operators
  • Use the ERP system to track materials
  • Assist with annual inventory planning
  • Manage surplus materials and scrap
  • Support warehouse receiving and unloading activities
