About the Role
You will execute site-level logistics and materials activities for a data center construction project. You will ensure equipment arrives on time and in good condition, maintain real-time delivery logs, audit physical inventory against system records, manage compliant storage, and resolve delivery, shortage, damage, and documentation issues with vendors and carriers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in site logistics, materials management, warehousing, or construction supply chain
- Experience on large industrial, energy, or data center projects preferred
- Knowledge of receiving and inventory control
- Experience with cycle counts and reconciliations
- Understanding of OEM equipment handling and storage requirements
- Experience with ERP or inventory systems
- Disciplined documentation practices
- Ability to work outdoors on an active construction site
- Forklift or telehandler certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Ensure materials and equipment arrive on time and in expected quantities
- Maintain real-time logs of OEM equipment deliveries
- Perform weekly physical audits against system records
- Store equipment according to warranty and vendor specifications
- Resolve delivery issues, shortages, damaged shipments, and documentation gaps
- Maintain bills of lading, packing lists, condition photos, and certifications
- Work with category management, vendors, and freight carriers to resolve issues
- Walk the laydown yard daily
