About the Role

You manage production control and material control activities by reviewing orders, planning capacity, releasing work orders, tracking production and inventory, running MRP, monitoring materials, coordinating suppliers and outsourced manufacturers, and reporting operational performance.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or above
  • Supply chain management or production management major preferred
  • 1–3 years of hands-on PMC experience in manufacturing
  • Experience managing PC scheduling and MC material control
  • Electronics industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Kingdee, Yonyou, or YiFei
  • Understanding of MRP calculation logic
  • Excel proficiency including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and functional modeling
  • Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
  • Knowledge of order review, MPS scheduling, capacity load analysis, and work order release
  • Knowledge of BOM decomposition, MRP material calculation, material completeness checking, and safety stock setting
  • Familiarity with factory production flow and inventory management
  • Understanding of ECN effects on plans and materials

Responsibilities

  • Review sales orders and forecasts against capacity, manpower, equipment, material lead times, and outsourcing cycles
  • Evaluate deliverable dates and committed lead times
  • Reschedule rush orders, modifications, and cancellations
  • Create monthly, weekly, and daily production plans
  • Release production and manufacturing work orders
  • Allocate capacity across production lines
  • Track workshop output, process routing, and inventory fulfillment
  • Coordinate resolution of equipment, manpower, quality, and process issues
  • Adjust schedules and delivery milestones
  • Track finished goods storage and shipping plans
  • Control workshop work in progress
  • Generate production and capacity analysis reports
  • Host production-sales coordination meetings
  • Lead outsourced manufacturer physical stocktakes
  • Run MRP calculations
  • Calculate material demand and issue purchase requisitions
  • Maintain ERP master data
  • Track purchase order deliveries and incoming materials
  • Perform material completeness checks
  • Coordinate alternative materials and material shortage resolution
  • Set and monitor safety stock
  • Review obsolete and excess inventory
  • Control material replenishment, returns, borrowing, and scrap
  • Track outsourced material processing and returned goods
  • Resolve material defects, shortages, version mismatches, and substitutions
  • Report material completeness, delivery, inventory, and scrap metrics
