About the Role

You will maintain optimal inventory levels, manage material transactions in the WMS and ERP systems, oversee finished goods inventory, conduct cycle counts and annual physical inventories, investigate discrepancies, kit jobs for production, issue parts, support the production floor, and assist with warehouse operations and surplus material management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull materials
  • Participation in a required drug and alcohol program
  • Forklift experience is a bonus
  • Experience with an MRP system is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Transact inventory movements for multiple projects
  • Complete and verify material requisition documentation
  • Manage WMS and ERP transactions to match physical goods movements
  • Identify discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
  • Conduct monthly cycle counts
  • Maintain adequate material and product inventory levels
  • Verify Bills of Materials before production
  • Run parts to the production floor
  • Issue parts to jobs according to specifications
  • Kit jobs for production
  • Pull sheet metal for CNC operators
  • Plan annual inventory
  • Manage and dispose of surplus materials and scrap
  • Assist with receiving, unloading trucks, cleaning, and lot upkeep
