About the Role

The Inventory Control Coordinator maintains inventory levels, manages material transactions in WMS and ERP systems, oversees finished goods inventory, conducts cycle counts and annual physical inventories, investigates discrepancies, kits jobs for production, issues parts, supports the production floor, and assists with warehouse operations and surplus material management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of inventory control experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with an MRP system
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and analyze inventory discrepancies
  • Organizational skills
  • Communication skills
  • Forklift operation experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Execute inventory movements for multiple projects
  • Complete and verify material requisition documentation
  • Manage WMS and ERP transactions to match physical goods movements
  • Identify discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
  • Conduct regular and monthly cycle counts
  • Plan and execute the annual physical inventory
  • Manage and dispose of surplus materials and scrap
  • Maintain sufficient inventory levels
  • Transport parts to the production floor
  • Issue parts to specific jobs
  • Kit jobs for production
  • Pull sheet metal for CNC operators
  • Verify Bills of Materials
  • Track material movements and inventory levels in the ERP system
  • Assist with receiving, unloading trucks, cleaning, and lot upkeep
