About the Role
The Inventory Control Coordinator maintains optimal inventory levels, manages materials in WMS and ERP systems, oversees finished goods inventories, conducts cycle counts and annual physical inventories, investigates discrepancies, kits jobs for production, issues parts, supports the production floor, assists with warehouse operations, and manages surplus materials.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull materials
- Participation in a required drug and alcohol program
Responsibilities
- Transact inventory movements for multiple projects
- Complete and verify material requisition documentation
- Manage WMS and ERP transactions to match physical goods movements
- Identify discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
- Conduct monthly cycle counts
- Maintain adequate material and product inventory levels
- Verify Bills of Materials before production
- Run parts to the production floor
- Issue parts to jobs according to specifications
- Kit jobs for production
- Pull sheet metal for CNC operators
- Plan annual inventory
- Manage and dispose of surplus materials and scrap
- Assist with receiving, unloading trucks, cleaning, and lot upkeep
