Requirements

  • Enrollment in a Master's programme in computer science, robotics, machine learning, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience training neural networks in Python with PyTorch or a comparable framework
  • Ability to write maintainable code and debug failing runs
  • Experience loading, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets with Python, NumPy, or pandas
  • Familiarity with vision-language-action models, imitation learning, or transformer-based robot policies
  • Experience with real robots or robotics software
  • Experience running and monitoring jobs on remote GPU machines or with SLURM

Responsibilities

  • Run training experiments and ablation studies and record performance effects
  • Implement and test changes to model code and training pipelines
  • Test trained models on real robots and analyze failures
  • Prepare, clean, and analyze robot datasets
  • Collect new demonstration data on real robots
