About the Role
You will lead and develop infrastructure engineers while remaining hands-on with capital projects. You will oversee facility design, construction, commissioning, project controls, contractor performance, budgets, technical reviews, and infrastructure strategies that meet manufacturing and Department of Defense requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with 7 years of relevant experience, or 15 years of hands-on facilities and infrastructure engineering experience
- Experience delivering capital projects from requirements and design through construction and commissioning
- At least 3 years leading and developing engineering teams
- Experience establishing project controls, statements of work, and documentation frameworks
- Experience managing contractors, construction firms, and vendors
- Experience operating in OSHA, ITAR, and hazardous-materials regulatory environments
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for state and federal explosives licenses
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or required export authorization eligibility
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an infrastructure engineering team
- Review statements of work and building plans and provide engineering guidance
- Manage the capital project portfolio against schedule, budget, and scope
- Translate program and Department of Defense requirements into infrastructure strategies
- Establish project controls, documentation standards, commissioning protocols, and design-review processes
- Manage contractors, construction firms, subcontractors, and vendors
- Prepare capital project proposals, budget requests, status updates, and program reviews
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor infrastructure engineering team members
