About the Role

You will design scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure and automate operational work. You will lead incident response and root-cause analysis, own service reliability and on-call operations, define SLOs and error budgets, guide reliable system design, and shape observability, cost, and reliability investments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or similar experience operating large-scale, highly available production systems
• Experience running containerization in production
• Experience with Helm and Terraform or Pulumi
• Experience with a major cloud platform, preferably AWS
• Proficiency in Python or Go
• Daily experience with agentic tooling including Claude Code, Droid, Codex, or internal skills
• Experience with monitoring and logging stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Experience owning an end-to-end infrastructure build

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure across cloud platforms
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management with Python or Go
• Use AI tooling to investigate incidents, create infrastructure changes, write runbooks, scaffold tooling, and review pull requests
• Lead incident response, post-mortems, and root-cause analyses
• Own the reliability, performance, and efficiency of core services
• Define and uphold SLOs and error budgets
• Provide guidance on system design for reliability, performance, and scalability
