About the Role

You will build the incident response management function and serve as an on-call incident commander. You will coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage communications, improve response processes, and help prevent recurring incidents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of incident management experience for technical product or infrastructure incidents
• Experience building or significantly shaping an incident response program
• Experience collaborating with engineering, security, legal, communications, go-to-market, and executive leadership
• Experience with cloud infrastructure incidents, distributed systems, monitoring tools, and logs
• Experience using incident metrics, queries, and trend analysis
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience

Responsibilities

• Build the incident response management function, including processes, tooling, and operational standards
• Serve as an on-call incident commander and coordinate stakeholders across multiple incidents
• Own internal and external incident communications
• Participate in blameless incident reviews and drive remediation follow-through
• Develop incident response policies, procedures, and escalation frameworks
• Improve incident detection, response, and learning with cross-functional partners
