About the Role
You will own the technical standard for piping and auxiliary-equipment installation systems across nuclear projects. You will maintain applicable codes and standards, define configurations and industrialization programs, and establish standard prefabrication, assembly, installation, scheduling, and documentation practices. You will support project teams in selecting standard solutions, participate in system reviews, collect project feedback, and use it to continuously improve system design and industrialization.
Requirements
- General or technical training in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in engineering activities for major projects.
- At least 3 to 5 years of confirmed experience in piping and equipment installation and integration or on a nuclear construction site.
- Knowledge of welding processes and non-destructive testing.
- Knowledge of systems engineering and associated information systems and PLM tools.
- Operational English.
- Minimum 10 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the standard piping and auxiliary-equipment installation system.
- Maintain the applicable codes and standards reference framework.
- Define system configurations that balance internal and external stakeholder needs.
- Define manufacturing, assembly, installation, and operational-transition programs.
- Define standard prefabrication and installation sequences, reference schedules, and documentation sets.
- Support project teams in selecting suitable standard variants.
- Advocate for standard solutions over project-specific developments.
- Participate in project Key System Reviews.
- Collect and analyze customer and delivery feedback to continuously improve the system.
