About the Role
You will build and operate the HR function across multiple entities and jurisdictions. You will manage employment documentation, onboarding, offboarding, Swiss payroll, social insurance, permits, Employer of Record relationships, performance-cycle administration, HR policies, employee data protection, and recruitment operations. You will maintain share-option and workforce records, prepare reporting inputs, and coordinate with department heads on HR deadlines.
Requirements
- At least five years of HR generalist or HR operations experience
- At least two years running a standalone HR function
- Swiss employment law, payroll, social insurance, and permit experience
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability to work remotely with substantial Central European Time overlap
- Experience building HR policies, files, processes, and systems
- German language proficiency is preferred
- Financial services, fintech, or regulated-environment experience is preferred
- Multi-entity and cross-border employment experience is preferred
- Employer of Record management experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Draft and manage employment contracts, addenda, offer letters, role changes, references, and termination documentation
- Track probation periods and manage confirmation communications
- Run onboarding and offboarding processes, including access requests, equipment, settlements, and handover evidence
- Manage the monthly Swiss payroll cycle with the external provider
- Manage Swiss social insurance registrations, changes, and year-end declarations
- Manage work and residence permits, cross-border employment, remote-working arrangements, and social-security determinations
- Manage Employer of Record relationships and maintain the contractor register
- Administer personal objective plan cycles and contractor service objectives
- Maintain the employee share-option register, grant documentation, vesting schedules, and leaver records
- Prepare salary benchmarking and headcount-cost inputs for reporting
- Build and maintain the employee handbook and HR policy set
- Maintain absence, holiday, time-tracking, and employee data-protection records
- Provide personnel evidence for audits, regulatory filings, and fit-and-proper submissions
- Run recruitment operations for approved roles
