About the Role
You will serve as the primary day-to-day HR contact for managers and employees across the company, covering the full employee lifecycle. You will own employee relations cases independently from intake through resolution, coach managers through performance conversations and corrective action, and lead cyclical People programs such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, calibrations, and comp cycle support. You will use AI tools to accelerate routine HR work, design AI-assisted playbooks for the team, and partner with Finance and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, role scoping, and hiring consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- 4-8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2+ years in an HRBP or business-facing HR role
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee relations matters independently
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
- Proficiency in HR data analysis and reporting
- Strong business acumen in a SaaS fintech context
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
- Experience with Rippling or comparable HRIS
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or fintech company strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day HR contact for managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle
- Build trusted relationships with people leaders and translate client group insights into signal for the VP, People
- Own employee relations cases independently, including intake, investigation, documentation, recommendation, and resolution
- Escalate cases appropriately when legal, compliance, or executive-level exposure is present
- Coach managers through performance conversations, feedback delivery, and corrective action processes
- Support manager onboarding and help managers navigate AI-augmented team structures
- Lead execution of cyclical People programs including performance reviews, engagement survey action planning, calibrations, and comp cycle support
- Contribute to workforce planning and headcount scenario discussions with Finance and Talent Acquisition
- Identify org design friction and propose solutions
- Use AI tools to compress cycle time on routine HR work and design shareable AI-assisted approaches
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on role scoping, leveling decisions, and hiring process consistency
