About the Role
You will operate cryogenic Cold Source systems and support plant operations on rotating 12-hour shifts. You will authorize work and equipment return to service, maintain operating and emergency procedures, support system modifications and maintenance, perform testing and troubleshooting, and enforce Cold Source safety, tagging, and access-control practices.
Requirements
- BS degree in engineering or related science and at least 5 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Current or previous Cold Source Staff Member qualification
- Familiarity with Conduct of Operations and Cold Source processes and procedures
- Pass a pre-placement drug test and participate in random drug testing
- Complete a pre-hire physical
- Visa sponsorship is not available
Responsibilities
- Operate Cold Source cryogenic and support systems
- Support shift operations under plant procedures and safety requirements
- Authorize, direct, and monitor Cold Source activities
- Mitigate Cold Source transients
- Perform hydrogen addition and venting operations safely
- Serve as a qualified person for Lockout Tagout
- Provide backup and shift relief for Cold Source staff
- Authorize work and equipment return to service
- Write Technical Safety Requirement tracking documents
- Develop and review operating and emergency response procedures
- Support engineering reviews, modifications, testing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain safety controls and environmental, safety, health, and quality compliance
