About the Role

You will build temporary and permanent construction structures that enable civil, concrete, plumbing, electrical, and related work. You will construct formwork and access structures, interpret drawings, operate construction tools, coordinate with other trades, document completed work, and follow site safety requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 3+ years of commercial, industrial, or heavy-civil carpentry experience
  • Ability to read construction drawings, details, elevations, and work packages
  • Proficiency with construction hand, power, and layout tools
  • Knowledge of construction safety, fall protection, and PPE requirements
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights and in confined spaces, and work outdoors
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, overtime, and extended shifts

Responsibilities

  • Build, set, and strip concrete formwork, bulkheads, blockouts, and embeds
  • Construct work platforms, stairs, ladders, railings, toe boards, and access structures
  • Frame, hang, and finish wood and light-gauge structures
  • Lay out, measure, cut, and assemble construction materials
  • Build and maintain temporary facilities, weather protection, enclosures, and safety structures
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, details, elevations, and work orders
  • Produce as-built markups
  • Follow fall-protection, lockout/tagout, PPE, hot-work, and permit requirements
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Coordinate with civil, concrete, plumbing, electrical, and other trades
  • Support punch-list closeout and turnover
  • Document work performed
  • Operate company vehicles and specialized equipment
