About the Role
You will own the Android application from architecture through Google Play release. You will build core user experiences, establish architecture and engineering practices, instrument analytics and reliability, collaborate on complete features, and drive staged production releases.
Requirements
- 6+ years building and shipping consumer Android apps at scale
- Expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Experience with CameraX or Camera2, media pipelines, and offline-first sync
- Experience as a lead or senior-most engineer on a mobile platform
- Product and performance experience across fragmented device matrices
- End-to-end platform ownership experience
Responsibilities
- Own the Android app from architecture to Google Play release
- Build and ship a polished, high-performance consumer client
- Own onboarding, capture, tasks, earnings, and notification surfaces
- Set Android architecture, coding standards, and review practices
- Instrument the app for analytics, experimentation, and crash-free releases
- Collaborate with iOS, hardware integration, and backend engineers
- Drive staged Google Play rollouts and release cycles
