About the Role
You will lead FanDuel's social media strategy, content, and platform presence across all channels, shaping how millions of fans experience the brand every day. You will build and manage a high-performing team of social media experts and content producers, define the voice that earns attention in sports and internet culture, and connect social engagement to the full customer journey. You'll collaborate closely with Brand, Acquisition, Retention, Product, Commercial and PR teams, push creative boundaries across short-form video, live and creator-led content, and drive customers toward advocacy through community channels like Discord.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in social media, digital content, or growth marketing
- Proven track record building and leading high-performing social or content teams
- Deep understanding of sports, fandom, and real-time content dynamics
- Strong creative instincts paired with a data-driven mindset
- Experience working cross-functionally to drive measurable business outcomes
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Set the strategy for how FanDuel shows up across all key social platforms
- Manage and develop a team of social media experts, channel owners, and content producers
- Establish a clear, distinctive voice that earns attention in sports and internet culture
- Act as liaison and drive support across all channel and go-to-market leadership teams
- Define and own KPIs to measure growth, engagement, and business impact across social
- Lead an always-on content operation spanning real-time moments, tentpoles, and original programming
- Drive customers to advocacy through engagement, leaning into community-based channels such as Discord
- Partner with Customer Service center of excellence to evolve ways of working and optimize back-end tech stack
- Push the boundaries of format across short-form video, live, and creator-led content
- Define success through both cultural relevance and business performance
- Ensure social amplifies key priorities across multiple business units and brands
