About the Role
Own GoMining's Platform domain end-to-end, combining technical leadership, product ownership, compliance infrastructure, custody systems, and operational excellence to keep the platform secure, scalable, and highly available.
Requirements
- 3+ years leading platform, infrastructure, or core engineering teams.
- Experience owning shared platform services used by multiple product teams.
- Strong experience in fintech, payments, digital banking, crypto, or financial infrastructure.
- Practical experience with custody platforms such as Fireblocks or similar solutions.
- Deep understanding of KYC providers, Travel Rule, AML, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing platform reliability, SLA, uptime, and incident management processes.
- Strong Node.js background with the ability to review architecture and production code.
- Experience building and scaling engineering organizations.
- Experience owning platform budgets, roadmaps, and business priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the Platform domain as an internal product serving multiple product teams.
- Define platform strategy, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics.
- Drive platform scalability, reliability, and engineering excellence.
- Own custody infrastructure, including Fireblocks, Uphold, and similar providers.
- Ensure secure asset storage, withdrawals, deposits, and fund movements.
- Own KYC, Travel Rule, and compliance-related platform capabilities.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance on regulatory readiness, including MiCA.
- Define platform SLA and uptime targets and establish incident management processes.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional platform engineering team.
- Drive architectural decisions, engineering standards, and inner-source practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Operations.
- Support strategic platform initiatives and future technology migrations.
