About the Role
You will oversee the company’s physical security operations across US locations. You will manage vendors, security systems, and budgets; conduct risk assessments and implement mitigations; lead incident response and crisis management; develop emergency response and business continuity plans; deliver security training; and support events and travel security.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or public safety
- At least 5 years in security management
- Prior experience in financial services or technology industries preferred
- Excellent judgment with ability to assess threats and influence leadership decisions
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Proven program management and budgeting experience
- Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Customer service oriented mindset balancing security and employee experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Advanced security certifications (CPP, PSP, CEM) a plus
- Familiarity with surveillance, access control, and alarm systems
- Availability for after-hours response to critical incidents
- Valid United States work authorization required
- Ability to travel and provide on-site event support as needed
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a company-wide physical security strategy
- Advise executive leadership on physical security threats and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with site leaders and cross-functional teams to enhance compliance and employee experience
- Evaluate and update security policies to address evolving risks
- Oversee daily security operations including guard services, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring
- Lead security and safety audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities
- Manage contracts, budgets, vendor performance, and security system operations
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
- Develop emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity plans
- Perform digital threat monitoring, takedowns, and PII removal for executives
- Serve as a primary responder for physical security incidents and escalate appropriately
- Maintain readiness for emergency procedures, drills, and continuity of operations
- Partner with law enforcement and local agencies to support investigations
- Create and deliver training programs in emergency response and security awareness
- Provide security support for corporate events, projects, and office buildouts
