About the Role

You will build and lead modern, automation-first accounts payable and accounts receivable operations across fiat and digital asset rails. You will design scalable finance infrastructure, embed automation and AI into core workflows, streamline invoicing, collections, reconciliations and cash application, reconcile bank accounts and onchain wallets, and maintain SOPs and subledgers to ensure accurate month-end closes and audit readiness. You will evaluate and integrate automation and billing platforms, drive AR collections strategy, partner cross-functionally on disputes, and manage and mentor a part-time bookkeeper.

Requirements

• 5+ years of AP/AR or accounting operations experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior capacity
• Hands-on experience managing both fiat and digital asset transactions
• Demonstrated experience implementing automation within ERP or finance workflows (e.g., AI invoice tools, integrations, billing systems)
• Proficiency in NetSuite or a comparable ERP system
• Experience managing a direct report or contractor in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Experience in a Web3, fintech, or crypto-native organization
• Familiarity with multi-entity structures and global operations
• Experience implementing or managing billing or usage-based invoicing platforms
• Background applying AI tools to finance or accounting workflows

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve end-to-end AP and AR operations
• Lead full-cycle AP and AR processes across fiat and onchain transactions including invoicing, collections, vendor management, reconciliations and cash application
• Build and standardize revenue operations workflows for onchain and traditional revenue streams
• Drive AR collections strategy and resolve disputes with cross-functional partners
• Reconcile bank accounts and onchain wallets and maintain subledgers to ensure month-end close aligns with the general ledger
• Evaluate and implement automation and AI tools for invoice capture, auto-reconciliation, payment reminders and billing
• Manage and mentor a bookkeeper and maintain SOPs for audit readiness and operational scale
