About the Role
You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes under US GAAP. You will oversee general ledger operations, reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reviews. You will research and apply technical accounting for complex areas such as ASC 606, ASC 805, and ASC 350-60. You will develop platform accounting for crypto, support financial reporting and external audits, and maintain internal controls. You will manage consolidated financials and intercompany accounting for domestic and international entities, scope and deliver accounting system implementations, collaborate on new product launches, international expansion, and M&A, and act as a business partner to cross functional teams.
Requirements
- Active CPA license
- 8-10+ years progressive accounting experience in technology or internet companies
- Experience in both startups high-growth private environments and public companies
- Strong technical GAAP expertise and ability to research and explain accounting topics
- 3+ years Big 4 experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency with modern finance systems including crypto Ramp Brex ERP and automation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- SQL skills (preferred)
