About the Role
You will assist the Finance Manager to scale a Web3-native accounting and control environment. You will record and code fiat and digital asset transactions, perform reconciliations across bank accounts, custodians, exchanges, and on-chain wallets, and execute supplier and treasury payments following approval workflows. You will validate Web3 accounting software against the general ledger using blockchain explorers, prepare entity-level schedules and intercompany reconciliations for consolidation, prepare transaction schedules for VAT and tax filings, and post accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries to support month-end close and audit readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial accounting operations, preferably in a multi-entity or international environment with IFRS
- Ability to execute recurring accounting tasks with strong supporting documentation
- Mindset for identifying inefficiencies and improving payment and reconciliation workflows
- Knowledge of blockchain explorers (e.g., Etherscan) and experience with or strong desire to learn crypto sub-ledgers such as Cryptio, Cryptoworth, or Tres
- Experience organizing working papers and maintaining an institutional audit trail
Responsibilities
- Record purchase, sales, intercompany, and treasury transactions across fiat and digital asset accounts
- Perform recurring reconciliations across bank accounts, custodians, exchanges, and on-chain wallets
- Execute supplier and treasury payments across fiat and digital asset rails following approval workflows
- Validate the link between Web3 accounting software and the general ledger and investigate mismatches using blockchain explorers
- Prepare entity-level schedules, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidation data packs
- Prepare transaction schedules for VAT and tax filings and maintain audit-ready supporting documentation
- Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries to support month-end close
