About the Role
You will take full ownership of the People function, building, scaling, and leading talent acquisition, People Operations (HRIS, compliance, benefits), performance management, compensation, and executive coaching. You will design and implement scalable processes, partner with Finance on headcount planning and organizational design, develop managers and executives, and ensure people operations run smoothly and compliantly.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in People or HR roles, including 2+ years in a senior leadership position (Head of or VP) at a high-growth technology company
- Proven experience implementing core systems and processes
- Broad exposure to talent, HRBP, People Operations, and compensation
- Structured, organized, pragmatic, and systems-oriented operator
- High agency, first-principles thinker comfortable coaching and challenging executives
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or B2B SaaS (preferred)
- Expert knowledge of employment law and compliance (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Own and build People functions including talent, HRBP, and People Operations
- Improve performance management, leveling, and compensation frameworks
- Partner with Finance on headcount planning, compensation strategy, and organizational design
- Develop managers and coach executive leadership
- Build scalable talent acquisition processes and systems
- Strengthen culture through clarity, programs, and high standards
- Ensure People operations run smoothly and compliantly
- Mentor and grow a small People team
