About Somnia

Somnia is a blockchain network positioned as an 'Agentic L1', designed with a multi-stream consensus mechanism to deliver the highest throughput and lowest latency of any EVM-compatible chain. About the Role

You'll own the marketing engine across the entire Somnia ecosystem, including the L1 itself and every product built on top such as DreamDEX and Prophecy. As the most senior marketing role at Somnia, you'll report directly to the CEO and sit on the leadership team. You'll lead a globally distributed marketing function spanning product marketing, social, KOLs, events, paid media, and comms. This is a player-coach role where you'll write the strategy, set targets, run the operating cadence, and also get hands-on with launch briefs, campaigns, and the narrative itself when it matters.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in marketing with at least 3 in a leadership role in a crypto-native company
  • Track record taking at least one Web3 product from early proof to category leadership
  • End-to-end ownership of the consumer crypto funnel including acquisition activation retention and monetization
  • Hands-on experience running paid organic KOL and community channels
  • Fluency in the competitive landscape across L1s prediction markets DEXs and AI-x-crypto
  • History of building and leading globally distributed marketing teams
  • Analytical fluency and comfort with quantitative approaches
  • Player-coach operating style
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy across Somnia L1 and the products built on top
  • Sequence launches and campaigns so each beat compounds the last
  • Shape the marketing operating model around products and outcomes
  • Set the weekly operating rhythm of targets reviews and post-mortems
  • Own the growth numbers and set targets with the CEO and product leads
  • Run the full acquisition stack including organic content paid KOL programs season campaigns referral loops and partner-led growth
  • Build the analytics layer that turns on-chain and community data into prioritization and outreach assets
  • Own the master Somnia narrative and cascade it into each product's positioning
  • Define and protect the visual identity tone of voice and brand governance
  • Lead positioning and messaging for every launch in the Somnia ecosystem
  • Own retention across the product stack and design incentive structures
  • Set the strategy for Discord Telegram X and ecosystem comms
  • Build the developer marketing track through hackathons build-a-thons and dev content
  • Own earned media strategy and tier-1 editorial relationships
  • Lead the global events calendar including planning budgeting and activation
  • Run announcement strategy and crisis comms playbooks
  • Partner with product leads as their commercial counterpart on positioning GTM readiness and growth targets
  • Work cross-functionally with BD Product Finance and Legal
  • Manage agency relationships KOL contracts and external creative partners
