About the Role
You will lead intergovernmental and regulatory affairs across the EEA and UK. You will develop government-relations strategy, build relationships with regulators and policymakers, monitor regulatory developments, represent the business in consultations, draft policy submissions, advise senior leadership on risk, and lead government-relations professionals.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs
- Understanding of the crypto and digital-assets regulatory landscape
- Relationships with regulators or government officials in the EEA and UK
- Experience engaging directly with regulators
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate regulatory concepts for non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute government relations strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators, government agencies, legislative bodies, and industry associations
- Monitor and interpret regulatory and legislative developments
- Represent the business in consultations, policy roundtables, and industry working groups
- Develop policy positions and draft regulatory submissions, consultation responses, and position papers
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Product, Communications, and Business stakeholders
- Advise senior leadership and the Board on geopolitical and regulatory risk
- Lead and grow government relations and public policy professionals
