About the Role
You will establish and lead the hardware manufacturing operations function. You will select and manage suppliers and global supply chains, build and lead operations and engineering teams, drive new-product introduction and production readiness, oversee product delivery, and manage supplier selection, yield optimization, contracts, and factory audits.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hardware operations and supply-chain management experience
- 7+ years building and leading engineering and operations teams
- Consumer electronics manufacturing experience
- Experience in automotive, trucking, defense, construction, mining, or agriculture
- Contract manufacturing, PCBA, final assembly, test execution, and yield optimization expertise
- Experience managing supplier pipelines, BOM costing, vendor audits, and quality-control systems
Responsibilities
- Build the hardware manufacturing operations function
- Select, manage, and drive manufacturing suppliers and global supply chains
- Build and lead Operations Program Managers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Reliability and Quality Engineers
- Drive new-product introduction, design for excellence, quality assurance, and mass-production setup
- Oversee committed hardware deliverables across industries
- Manage supplier selection, yield optimization, contract negotiation, and factory audits
