You will set and own the data strategy, prioritise data assets, and make acquisition, generation, partnership, and build-versus-buy decisions. You will lead data partnerships and generation programmes, manage the data budget and request process, establish quality standards, and develop a team spanning acquisition, curation, architecture, and engineering.

Responsibilities
- Build and own the data strategy
- Identify high-value data opportunities and scalable acquisition or generation pathways
- Make build-versus-buy-versus-partner decisions
- Acquire and build proprietary data assets
- Oversee data-generation programmes from experimental design through ML-ready delivery
- Build a pipeline of prospective data partners
- Evaluate and propose data partnerships and deals
- Manage the data budget
- Design and run the data-request process
- Lead, grow, and develop the Data team
- Set standards for data quality, provenance, and interoperability
